Beekeeping Experience Days

Come join us at our beautiful countryside Apiary and get hands on with our Bees. Located just 10 minutes from Chelmsford (Essex), our Apiary is set up to welcome you, your friends and family to join our head beekeeper, Matt, to enjoy the inner workings of our beehives.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Our experience days run for 3 hours 

On arrival you will be greeted by our Beekeeper and given a quick safety brief. Once this is out of the way its time to have fun.  

We will get you fitted out in a suit and gloves and take you to the Apiary where we will spend time explaining the ins and outs of the beehives. Now its time to get inside and really see what goes on within, you will get the opportunity to handle the bees, frames and play hide and seek with the infamous Queen bee. 

After spending a good amount of time with the bees, you will get a chance for Q&As followed by refreshments, cake and a chance to sample our honey.
